Funding and budgets
Understanding your Support at Home funding
Your funding comes from several different funding streams, each with its own job. This is your plain-language guide to what they are, what they pay for, and the order your money is spent in.

The funding order
How your funding is drawn down
The order your funding is used depends on the type of service. Care services (personal care, nursing, allied health, domestic assistance) follow a different order to equipment and home modifications. Both are shown below.
Care services — three scenarios
Standard care
With restorative care
Two budgets run at the same time for different services.
End-of-life pathway
EOL replaces the Ongoing budget. No flow between them.
Ongoing budget is suspended during the episode and cannot be claimed against.
Equipment and home modifications — different order

Why your funding looks the way it does
Support at Home is made up of several funding streams. Some pay for your everyday care, some for equipment or home changes, and some are only available for a short time when your needs change. Understanding them explains why your available budget shifts, why services are charged to different funding streams, and why some funding shows separately in the Trilogy App.
